HISTORY OF SERIE A
Serie A is the first division of italian football. Starting in the early 1900s there where only regional leagues and finally in 1929 the leagues started forming into one and by 1964 it officialy became LEga Serie A. The winning team of the year gets awarded the Scuditti which is a sheild they get on there shirt. there are three divisions of italian football. Serie A, Serie B and Serie C. below that it is divied into regional leagues. The top three teams in Serie A get to play in the Champions League. The bottom three teams get relegated to the division below and the top three get promoted. Juventus has won the league the most that being 26 times and Internazionale has been in the league the longest which is 89 years and they have won it 19 times.
