The Premier League is the the best football league in the world. The first football league in England was founded in 1888 and was called the First Division of the Football League. The Football league was starting to struggle in the 1980s and so in 1992 the Premier League was founded as kind of a rebranding of English Football. People were very spectical becouse of the traditions of the football league going all the way back to the 1800s. With the rebranding of the Premier League they got exclusive global TV coverage. There a lot of divisions in English Football and I won't be going over all of them, just the top 5. Firstly there is the Premier Division below that is the Champonship and then it goes League one and League two. The compitition and money drops heavaly from there and the national league is the next drop. The national league is the last league that consists of teams from around the country with the next leagues being reginol leagues. Some of the best teams in the world play in the premier league. Some examples are Manchester city, liverpool, arsenal and newcastle.
